Any Experience?

Hi all,

I was just wondering if anybody has had any experience with purchasing plants from http/www.plantedtanks.co.uk/

They seem to be reasonably priced however it doesn't state how much of the plant you get. If that makes sense?

The only reason I'm asking is I'm going to be buying salts to make my own fertiliser from them. I though I'd ask just to see if they are as decent as their prices so I can save postage costs.

i buy all my plants from tony good qaulity good service .

i have bought from these before and cannot complain. I know other who have bought from them and have had no problems. Just recently there have been a couple of people who have had not bad, but not excellent plants. Now, they are the cheapest by far on the net for the quality.

i would still use them.

It is difficult to answer about how many / big plants are as this varies weekly.

At the moment some plants we are getting in are small. This is following on from the massive loss - over 80acres of farmland wiped out due to the flooding - yes malaysia got it bad as well as Australia.

On average - stems are about 6 to 8inches in height from our standard range... premium are about 8 to 12inches.
you can get as many as 17 stems in a bunch... but only 3 to 5 crypts in a bunch... hairgrass - you get hundreds...
Moss is usually 7cm x 7cm on wire... a cup is 5g in weight...

Thats really interesting to know Also awesome to hear from the company themselves!!! I can't wait to receive my plants and dry ferts this week

The way I see it though is regardless of whether you get 10 stems or only 2, you still get the plants to grow on and hopefully spread out, as long as they are in good condition in the first place you should be able to get some decent plants in the end!!! I'm more of a quality rather than quantity kinda girl!
