Any Dealings With Nd Aquatics Or Windsor Aquatics

Good evening all, I've finally talked the other half round to upgrading our current 6ft tank to a 84x24x24, we've decided to have one made to order with a hood and cabinet. My question is, have many of you out there had dealings with ND Aquatics or Windsor Aquatics as they are the front runners to get our money, or are there any other bespoke tank manufacturer's you'd recommend? I bought my latest tank about 2 years ago from Windsor Aquatics, when it came it came from ND. nice tank though and would recommend.

ive got 2 ND tanks and they are pretty good. the hood and stand are very basic though and cost the most money so it may be worth having a word with a local carpenter/furniture maker etc. after buying mine a mate saw it and said he could have made them for less than half the price and still made proffit on it..... next tank i buy ill be getting him to make the hood and stand

another thing if you are thinking of adding an FX5 to the tank then they will need telling that the cut outs in the hood will need to be made bigger otherwise they wont fit. they didnt make either of mine bigger for some reason even after telling them but it was a simple diy job to do myself.

I had my tank made by ND aquatics. very nice tank and delivered when they said they would. was pleased all round. cant comment on the cabinets as I made my own, but build quality on the tank is excellent.

Thank you guys for your input, we've made our decision to go with Windsor Aquatics, atfer looking around it seemend 50/50 between the two, guess time will tell... The 2 FX5's will be hard plumbed but will let them know since the cabinet will come from ND..

I'm ordering my new 1 from ND 48x24x18 with an optiwhite front panel. £230 including delivery seems very good value and I'm making my own stand and hood 6-8 weeks lead time is perfect.

I made my own cabinet and got my tank from ND. Do a jounral on the making of the stand and hood you make.

Iv started one for my hood as its having a DIY LED setup that's in the DIY section and I had started one for the stand but I've lost it
