2 Bolivian Rams (my guess top is F bottom M)

The one I think is M??

The one I think is F??

My 2 Angels

Angel

I would love to get a pair, both the angels and bolivians stick very close together and get on well so i'm hoping they are opposite sexes.

Anyone wanna have a go at sexing??

Many thanks

I would agree with you regarding the bolivian rams

The angels are really too young i think to give a reasonably accurate decision, but if i had to say either way i would say that from the image of the 2 together, I would guess that they are both male

Oh no! Pleased about the rams though. So how old do you think my angels are? If it's 2 males will they fight once they reach sexual maturity??

Thanks

First off, Angels are near impossible to sex in most cases. The best way to find out their sex is to see them breed and in most cases thats what it takes. Those are very young, probably only a few months old. What size tank are they in?

They may fight when they are older, but it really depends on them and the size tank they are in.

I should probably add, if you are trying to get a pair then you are doing it all wrong. Having more angels means more chance of getting a pair. If you get about 6 all around the same size then you are almost guaranteed a pair.

They are in a 50 gallon tank, I was thinking of getting more angels to try and get a breeding pair but am not sure how big angels grow, i mean i know how many inches but it's hard to tell how they'll look in the tank without seeing it and don't want to find that they don't have enough room when they're bigger!

You can add more, but remember, they are Cichlids. If, two pair up they will probably get quite aggressive with the others and the others might have to be re-homed. Sometimes you can get a really nasty alpha fish that is just too aggressive for the tank, and he may need to be removed. Keep an eye out for aggression, and know when to separate them.
