I've been thinking about buying some of the more 'exotic' cichlids through a good breeder. does anybody have any recommandations? it prolly would be best if they had an online site, so i could see what they offered, but if someone has an email or phone number, i'd be willing to look into it. thanks!

Jeff Rapps is the best in the US he will ship overseas, and has in the past. the only problem is finding the right fish to make up the 50 dollar minimum. but I am more than impressed with my male trimac and my male sedentaria.

Just wanted to know if you have had enough experience in breeding and caring for cichlids, especially the more fragile ones like the discus.

If you aren't, then you might want to get more experience with breeding before investing a lot of money into breeding the more difficult fish.

 i'm not breeding, are you talking to someone else? i'm looking for a breeder but not to breed. i don't know where you got that from.

and yes, both me and my boyfriend are well experienced in taking care of fish, we have a 75g, 2-55gs, 29, 20, 10. all which we take care of with no deaths as of the past six months.

does anybody have any other recommandation besides jeff rapps?
