Hi everbody
I have a second hand TROPIQUATRIUM 88 thats runs from one plug, thats connected to the lights the heater and pump just connect via the connection box and all the power comes out from the one plug, but i do not want the lights to stay on all night, but i need the pump and the heater to stay on all the time, how do i get round this?
At a push i could take out the starter for the lights but that means takling the glass cover off ever night, the tank does have a timer on it but i do not think that helps either.

Well its over to you guys now!!

Thanks Duddie

does the light not have a on/off switch half way down the cable?
failing that get three plugs and add a sperate plug to each item, if you cant find someone who's good with electics...failing that go to lfs and pick up a electric junction box, you wire each item up to an individual switch and hey presto, the one i have has two junctions which are constantly on which one has the heater and one has the filter, then the lights all have individual on off switches
