I was wanting to get some fish for my 35L Biube tank. Can anybody recommend some that would be suitable?
Thanks

Hmmm that's about 10 US gallons... In a BiUbe, the big problem you encounter is that because it's taller than it is wide, there isn't a lot of bottom space for fish to chart out their territories. Not to mention there is a reduced surface area.

For this reason, I suggest a very light stocking scheme, with non-energetic fish (eg danios, etc.)

A shrimp tank, or a lone betta and a snail would be good choices. Maybe a honey gourami. But honestly, the shape of this aquarium is going to make it really hard to work with.

The other problem, if I'm recalling correctly, is that its hard to get them cycled in the form they come in new because one component of the filter is a container of carbon and zeolite mixed together. The zeolite can take away the food source for the bacteria, keeping the filter from cycling. In many cases we've had the user swap those out for some sponge or other biomedia.
