Hard to tell as the first one is so diff. could be quite a young male or a juvenile yet to sex out.

But I'd say the bottom one is defo a male

They are actually both female. The anal fins do not go past the tail junctions and are rounded in shape. Look at the spangles on the black spot area, they are still there despite the black not showing, they are very noticable and individual.

Also look at the first three rays on the anterior dorsal fin, the third ray is becoming longer than the first two.

Definately 2 females.

I would have to say they look young and new. That photo looks like you just got them so the fins are a bit ragged and need to grow in and they will very soon. I say the bottom is a male for sure and the dominate one. The other is a male that is getting picked on. I had rams and the Dominate male had a black spot with some blue in it the weaker ram showed no spot.

Females almost always have a black spot with a very noticeable blue specks.

Are they getting along? or is one being a bullly?

Check out what I mean.

For a start you are not supposed to post links to another forum, secondly have you actually read that article, I have many times, I am a moderator on that forum, I have even spoke to person that wrote it quite often.

The second ram is 110% female, if you match everything up to that article.

lol wayyy to young to tell. wait till they get their markings at about 6 months of age yours may be about 4.5 months. By chance but a long shot the bottom is a female the black spot has a bunch of iridescents over it which is a marking in females. But they are too young at this time.
