Another Stocking Question

Thanks for evreybody who replied to my post. I am sorry that I havent replied (I have done sooo much traveling and this is the first time i have been near a computer!)

lljdma06: I agree with you that it is not that odd but here is the confusing thing I have got it tested by a huge fish shop which has by full confidence(the goldfishbowl oxford) so it is very stange!? I also follow the instructions word to word but should I test again? or add some nitrogen ferilizer to my tank?
I also agree with getting a few new shrimp.I had more (5) but they all got boiled

:-( and another rosy barb would be lovley :) as in my tank they look beautiful

Behemoth: I would LOVE an upside-down catfish but due to money reasons I don't have enough space! :-(

any other suggestions for my problem? and question?
Thanks

Goodness no! Unless you have a densly planted tank full of fast-growing, high demand plants, and have a WPG that exceeds 2 Watts per Gallon. If you're tank's fish only, or with very low maintenance plants and you have a low plant mass, then don't bother. I wouldn't worry about it. If you want to test again, @ombomb's advice, ignore the directions and shake both bottles hard for a good minute, if you use the Aquarium Pharmeceutical test. Sometimes the directions written are not always the best directions.

How did your previous amanos become "boiled"? :/

This sounds an aweful lot like several other threads on fish for smallish tanks!

I have a similar sized tank and I think you could prob add 3-4 tetras, the x-ray tetra is a lovely looking fish that is nice and pieceful and would shoal nicely in your tank.

Any help?
