Another Skimmer

ok people my tanks is about 6 month's old and i have 1 yellow tailed damsel, 1 hermit carb, 1 turbo snail, and one orange spotted goby, it's about 66 galon and i just tested all my kits tonight, they all seem fine....

just wondering

A - do you need a skimmer

Pain in the (finish for yourself).

Look for a Euro-Reef or an ASM ... easy as pie and awesome skimmers. For less you can go the Turboflotor route but those are more finicky.

66 gallons and only 1 snail? I would recomend 1 cleanup crew per gallon of tank.

As for a skimmer, If you are not running a natural system like a mud based filtration then I recomend using a skimmer.

As for which one, sorry i dont know as i dont use em a great deal.

you be better going for a biostar flotter by aquamedic of the mc500 by deltec. the deltec has the better build quality but is an internal skimer.

ok man you see i notice that you haven't got a skimmer, so i have a good filter the fluval kind, and everythings seems to be ok, lot of stuff that i still need to find out eh ?

p.s bought another 5 snails and also 3 shrimps 2 cleaner and one boxer
