Another Question

Heyy everyone, Basically i have a hexagon fish tank which i reckon is about 30-40 gallons which has been set up for about 5 months. Atm it has a rtbs,Pleco (Hasnt really grown much, Think it was stunted by previous owner)& 1 Angelfish. The tank looks pretty empty as the pleco and shark hide untill lights are out so im wondering if theres any fish that will work with this stock i was thinking about another Angel but idk as ive heard they fight Oh and no small fish as my 30g tank is full of shoaling fish Or bettas (As my Angel hates them )Thanks

What about gouramis, dwarf cichlids, larger killifish, mid-sized catfish? There are loads of options. Your only real constraints are that the fish don't get too big (probably 6 or so inches max), that they don't require impractically large groups and that they are not too aggressive/specialist.

Ummmm massive attitude problems you should try some of the other forums! As far as being empty goes I do agree theres not quit as much flow on here as there use to be but its still one of the busiest forums around! I know this because I've been keeping track!

Yeah, calling us with massive attitude problems won't get you very far. This is by far the most helpful, honest, and willing to teach out of the many that I belong to. TFF is the best, and so are it's members.

To answer your question, some of the larger tetras, like black skirts, would fit in well. Some of them can be a bit nippy so you'd have to watch your angel to make sure his fins aren't being eaten away. The limiting factor here is the hex tank. It's not very long and has almost no surface area for gas exchange. Maybe some harlequin rasboras or a dwarf gourami. Also possibly a german blue ram if your other fish can take the increased temp.

Okkk... Forgive my attitude i was in a mood yesterday
I was thinking about Gouramis hmm.. are you sure they get on well with Angels or is it a risk?
& If i do choose Gouramis whats the best type? Note ive had Golden ones before and they were a flippin nightmare almost killed each other.

personally Pearl gouramis are by favorite....they would look quite attractive next to an angel in my opinion!
