Very nice Dan. As far as improvements, I would like to see more highlights and shadows.

Very good maybe you could try and use a fine brush to add a little detail on the body

Ah, i wasnt being cocky Gazoo if thats what you thought... When painting the second draft, i paid particular attention to the highlights and shadows but i failed miserably so painted over them! i really struggle on that...

well you can still see some shadows on the tummy feathers at least.

With your latest cropped image, I see some very nice detail in the beak and eye.
