Just wanted to say hi to everyone.
Been lurking here for a few months now reading furiously!
I set up my first tank (24 UK gal) in the summer,which currently houses 7 danios,6 neon tetra,6 assorted corys, a few shrimp and a golden CAE (i know i know,I'm keeping my eye on him..newbie error!)
I also succumbed to my Betta love and have a 30l tank with a lovely blue male (Vince) and a few small corys (Naboo,Bollo and Howard).
So far so good.Lost a danio to mouth fungus early on,and a neon to what looked like NTD but since then all is fine.
I expect there is a bit of overstocking going on but the big tank is well filtered and everyone seems to be happy and healthy and seems to have plenty of swimming room,water params are good so hoping I'm doing something right.
I have got most of my advice from here,through reading other peoples experiences and problems,so thanks for being the fountain of knowledge that you all are.
Now I've bothered to introduce myself I may post a bit more instead of just lurking!
