Hello,

I'm from Portsmouth, hants (UK) and I've just joined and totally new to tropical fish! had my 60l tank for a couple of weeks now, planted it and put everything in there a week and a half ago and been doing the fishless cycle all seems good now, appart from all the snails that must have hitched a ride on the plants!
Going off to do some searching about that now, and looking forward to learning loads more from you guys, hopefully i will have some fish by the weekend and I can't wait, been off sick from work and i need something to cheer me up.

Welcome to the forums m8 :) Hope You Find a lot of good info on here like i have

thank you! I'm being given 3 zebra Danio's at the weekend from another tank which are making way for something else, and as there are only the three of them i expect i will get some more in another week or so to keep them company, then looking to get some Rasbora's and Cory's at a later date.

will post up some pictures when they arrive, shall i start another thread in a different section?

cheers for the welcomes :)

oh and i think i've removed most of the snails, but found a small worm like thing on the side of the tank so hopefully the danio's will like a little snack!

Make sure you have your water tested for Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate and PH before adding fish.
Good luck with searching for some new fish!
