Right! So here goes, I'm very new to all this, and obviously I'm not going too ambitious but I currently have a small 35L Arcadia Arc tank (11W Arc Pod light)

I've got a "vision" of some plants that can grow out of the water and maybe spill out over the edge of the tank, with some other little ideas I think it could look pretty unique but I've never seen plants in any LFS like that? I've seen some kind of "lucky bamboo", and I've been recommended a couple of others; Limnophila aromatica, hygro and cardamine lyrata.

Any other suggestions as I don't know where to look to find them for myself! Also would they be suitable for a beginner?

I've had a look at lots of other topics and posts etc, and from what I've seen usually CO2 isn't a problem in small tanks such as mine?

Many thanks!

P.S: I actually saw a youtube video of a tank created by a Mr. Armano, the most incredible tank I've ever seen and was hoping to create something obviously much more basic but with a similar effect in a much smaller betta tank!

The majority of 'aquarium plants' are fine grown emmersed, many of the ones you buy will have been which is why there's often an initial die-off before new growth starts.
