Another New Tank :-)

Just added a background to my tank and thought it looked good enough to show you guys even without the rock scaping i want to do.

gonna have to rearrange when i do that but i like having the tank looking pretty ASAP.

photos arent gr8.

i wasnt sure about adding a picture background but i think the rocks look really good! Can hardly tell its a picture when your sat infront of it.


oh and before anyone says it.

i kno bog wood isnt good for cichlid tanks but ive been told the water round here is good for them and the coral should help with the ph.

i refuse to buy the rocks i need cos i live in the middle of the yorkshire dales and there must be something to use out there lol.

The plants can be eaten i dont care. bought too many for my other tank and these are jus spares.

im no malwai(SP) expert but i have a yellow lab in a 20 gal with driftwood and lots of plants along with 1 rainbow shark, 5 tiger barbs, 1 blue 3 spot gourami, and 1 bamboo shrimp. i know this isnt the best set up but i plan to put the other fish in a bigger tank and then get a suitable tank for the yellow lab. *SO FAR* i havent had any probs. all of my plants are doing fine. i only had one that got torn up. the ones i have are cabomba, anacharis, ludwigia, amazon sword, jungle val, java fern, dwarf hairgrass, and dwarf water lillies.

If you didn't tell me that was an aquarium background and not a rock wall..I would've thought it was real. sama: WOW, that is one nice background.
