Another ID needed

This guy i believe to not be a Mbuna could be wrong, He was in a tank at my lfs with an african cichlid and the woman said that its compatible. I dont know what i bought and they are doing fine in the tank and can defend themselves. Any Ideas?

Not sure, could it be some kind of julichromis? Nice fish!

This is not a Cichlid as it has a separate Dorsal and Adipose fin. Maybe a Characin. Got me there!

looks like Leporinus fasciatus, aka Banded Leporinus.

Thanks Ricey you got it i have 2 of them they are very nice fish. They live well in my cichlid aquarium with the africans while they are from South and Central America.
