Another Fish Combination.....

Sorry for bugging you guys about this but this is my stocking list(for 32G also not set up yet):


12 Cardinal tetras
1 Honey gouramis
2 German Blue Rams
5 Penguin or Emporer tetras
Some Amano shrimp
And 1 male 3 female cherry barbs. Also could I add both the emporers and penguins?
And mabye even a school of ember tetras?

This combination can be done with caution. The Rams are New-World Cichlids, so, being a cichlid makes them a little harder to accomodate for in terms of stocking. They should be OK with the tetra, and the gouramis. Provide plenty of plant cover for the amano shrimp as they will appreciate this and try to get the shrimp in numbers - they do more good than bad for the tank so don't be afraid to add 10 or so. I would maybe leave the ember tetras, just until things settle down. Don't add all of these fish in one go as it will cause to much of a bioload on the filter. Also, it maybe worth boosting the number of penguin or emporer tetra to 6, this seems to be the usual number for schooling fish, espically the characins, i.e. tetra. This is actually a good stocking list as you have plenty of colour and schooling varieties going on! Keep me updated and give us plenty of pictures! Good luck!

Cherry Barbs seem to do better in bigger groups, i have 12 in my tank and the all shoal together. But when i added 6 they were always chasing each other. Id probably ditch the Penguin/Emporer Tetra and get more Cherry Barbs but depends on yourself

Ok I have dicided it's going to be:

12 Cardinals
8 Neon tetras
2 german rams
1-3(How many?) honey gouramis
10 Amano shrimp
and 8 Emporer tetras

Anyone forsee any problems?
