Another Dwarf Gourami Death

Well, after losing 2 of my other dwarf gourami with no signs of illness and no warning, I just lost my final dwarf last night.
From what I have been reading on here, they are not the healthiest little fish and have problems with disease... Is this true of all the gourami species? I have one powder blue and one sunset gourami left. Are they also prone too the same illnesses? I love the dwarfs and they are absolutely beautiful but I just can't bear to buy a fish that I know will live for only a few months.

Sorry for your loss.
Dwarf Gouramies seem to be the only ones that suffer from bacterial infection and rarely survive treatment.

That's true. Why don't you try another species os gourami.
