another dumb question

okay I know that I never stop talking about my 75 gallon malawi tank!!! what can I say I love it!!!! so I have been pondering over getting a small white moon light for my tank after seen how cool a dimmed flash light looks in it when the house is totally dark. do you guys think that it is something that should or could be done?

I have one on my 50 and I LOVE it, that tank has such a strong current that it makes the light reflect in waves on the ceiling & the walls, so awesome, oh yeah the fish like it too , I bought mine on eBay for 20.00 less than my lfs was selling them .

whats a dimmed moon light?

it's a little 1" by 1" square light (almost like a pen light) that attaches to your ballast, you turn it on when you turn out your big lights, or set them up on timers so one goes off the other comes on. My ultimate goal is to put 4 across my tank and set them on timers to go off...one goes on and then the other comes on when the 1st one goes off and so on...to replicate the moon moving across the sky
