Another Could I Get Away With It Question

Instead of re-homing my 5 daemons, do you think they would be ok with the Oscar and GT (along with the severum, birchir etc that I already know are ok with them).

I dont want to let them go, they have the size to cope but being quite placid, would a GT beat them up? I know its trial and error, but would I really be pushing my luck and tank capacity?

Thoughts?

I think the Oscar would beat them up,not sure about GT's because i never had 1

See Im not sure an Oscar would bother them, obviously some wont accept any tankmates, but grown up with them, they are large enough for him not to take any notice, its really a GT Im concerned about.

Obviously my concern is, if I try it and everything works out for a while, they get larger, so if something goes wrong a year down the line, they are too large for me to house comfortably while trying to rehome them, whereas at the moment they have enough room until I can find them new homes, hope that makes sense.

Unless anyone can give me a definitive yes/no, I may well try it and see how it goes, any sign of problems, I will get them out.

I think its worth a try,or maybe making some money out of them because they are quite sought after.

You could keep some FM's and Convicts with your Oscar + GT + Sev tho,would make for a interesting tank

On reflection, I wont add them back to the tank, I wouldnt want them to come to any harm.

Dont like convicts and am trying to rehome the FM, although if he stays thats fine too, he's aggressive enough to withstand any attack.

Will either re-home the daemons (strange nobody is interested) or find them a tank all for themselves and see how we go with a breeding project, as they are notoriously difficult to breed.

They probably not interested because they are rare and not alot of people know what they are unless they love Geos.

As you say Geos and Oscars usually get on fine and tbh i think a young GT shouldn't bother them either,
You may just get away with 3 of them with very good filtration,

i woul;d be more inclined to give them a go than convicts! when my convicts had fry they beat the carp out of jambo, left him a quivering wreck, and albert is only little so maybe if he grows up with them he`ll be fine, i mean the most trouble hes gonna cause at the moment is being too inquisitive
