My new lovelies from Bryan are lost. Over $300 of fish left Palm Beach yesterday for delivery by 3PM PDT today. It is after 4 pm, and no one knows where they are. Bryan is working at his end, me at mine, but they are "enroute." They are probably sitting on the tarmac in Miami.

And to compound it I am suppose to be setting up a shipment for ICEEGRL for tomorrow, but I can't leave the phone until I get word to pick mine up so I can't make the appointment for shipping. Well, maybe I could have them pick them up from me, but the less time USPS has their hands on my fish the better for them (the fish.) Have customers been known to "go postal?"

Oh sure! now Homeland security will show up and arrest me for harrassing the postal service! :saddam:

:hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :shout: :shout: :shout: :shout: :shout:

Wow, thats not good. I hope they get to you safely :good:

You are really going to enjoy those green lasers B)

They are tracking in Oakland 12 hours ago. Hopefully they are headed for Fresno and not San Jose (my street)

I suppose I will get my shipping cost returned. Hopefully there will be no reason to ask for the $100 for damages.

Fingers crossed for you...

(Nowhere near the same severity but ANC sent a parcel which was meant to go to me to London and then lost it - now how anyone in the UK can mistake CARDIFF for LONDON escapes me... ;) )

This is the second time in a row that USPS has messed up. (The first time they blame on me, because I was not awake when the delivery came 4 to 6 hours earlier than the usual time.)

I am in "Shock and Awe" as to how we can fight a war and keep the troop deployments straight when we can't track a package from Palm Beach, FLA to Fresno, CA. If Fed Ex can do it the US Govt should be able to.

Thanks for the good wishes. I am hoping the fish will be fine, and I get blessed with a refund of my shipping. :shifty:

But just as a point of reference, their shoddy bureaucratic disorganization has cost me in excess of $500 the last 15 months--not counting this shipment, which I pray will not be added.

I think enough troops on the ground would argue about keeping supplies straight :(

But it is amazing that we can track objects light years away but can't even manage a simple thing like tracking a box... not very hard - just scan the ruddy barcode at EVERY point where it is handled, or fit them with RFID chips and ensure they go through a reader when being loaded/unloaded/moved

I just got the call. I am leaving for the Main Fresno Docking at 1 am in the morning to the West Side. Tough area. But the fish are here! :hyper: Well almost....

Oh My! I just caught my pandas from Chas. Epperstein nuzzling (not the long fins or the lps Asian fish farm ones.) :hyper: :hyper:

Everyone is in tanks and looking very good. They all colored up as soon as they hit the tank--except who know what the melanotanaea did. They disappeared right away. haha

The neon green lasers and dulpicaris are extra striking. The little cardinals are also exquisite. The little pandas look more stressed than the others, but they will do fine. They join 5 adult breeders--the ones who I caught nuzzling earlier.

The packing was super. Not a bag leaked. And none were dirty. Bryan always gets my vote on his professionalism.

Thanks for your good wishes and prayers, everyone. I should get the $65 shipping back from Bryan who will get it back from the USPS. I also made more connections with the postal people for future shipping and recieving. :good:

It is a sweet deal in spite of my bellyaching. But it is 3 am--of course it fits my schedule well.
