Hello

After much research and consideration, I have chosen how to stock my new tank. I was originally going to go for bettas, then a dwarf puffer species tank but now I've gone for a less complicated setup.

I was wondering if anyone can see any major problems in the fish I intend to keep as a community. I'm very new to this game so please forgive me if there are any majorly stupid mistakes! I'll check the sizes of these myself and will definately not overstock the tank - it's a 125Litre

I was hoping for:

5x five-banded barb
3x Black phantom tetra
2x kissing gourami or blue gourami
1x Cameroon fan shrimp
2x butterfly plec
2x Kribs

and then possibly a shoal of hatchetfish.

Temperature wise and aggression wise, they seem fine to me.

Any comments would be great :)

Thanks very much.

Kissing gouramis get much too big, blue gouramis get to 5"+ and can be aggressive so pearls might be a safer choice.
Pentazonas are fine, Black phantoms need to be in a larger group.
Butterfly plec - if this is a hillstream loach they need cooler & fast flowing water -clown plec or bristlenose would be ok.
Shrimp - ok with fish that won't eat it - I wouldn't trust Kribs. Kribs can be nasty if they spawn.
Hatchets - ~ personally I prefer pencilfish for upper levels.

Thankyou very much. I'm a bit worried about kribs myself. They may have to come later, if at all.
