Another betta arrived...

Well, this boy is here too. I'm pretty upset with the way he was shipped though. Even my husband said omg when he saw, and he knows nothing about fish. He was in a box that had "PERISHABLE ITEMS, REFRIDGERATE IMMEDIATELY UPON ARRIVAL" written on it, nothing about fish anywhere. So the Fed-ex guy is kind of tossing it around as he brought it to me. Here's me----->
Wuv's box that I got this morning had "live Fish" and "Avoid extreme temps!'" and "This side up" ALL over it. Anyway, so I open the box and he's in a bag that is honest to god the size of a toilet paper tube. He could barely tuen around. He's acclimating right now, so I'll add pictures later tonight when he's out.
I just had to show how sad this is, picture's awful, but I don't care, just wanted to show you all and then get him the heck out!

I know how ya feel, those that I got yesterday had nothing written on the box, I ran to the door and saw my whistlin dixie mailman beeboppin it out of the truck, I ran across the street "No,no,no, please don't!"

Refrigerate immediately though!? What the...?
I hope he settles in quickly, I can't wait to see him after he stretches out a bit

Those are the kind of bags I want and need , they're so perfect.

Ok, here's a few of the fish in a much nicer enviornment. He's had a lonnnnnnng trip so I didn't ask him to flare, but you can still see him pretty good.

The bag wouldn't have been so bad for the little baby oranges, but this boy's like four times the size of them! Not so good

I have 22 right now, and one more is on his way. I thought he was coming today too, but they rescheduled on me, so he should be here sometime this week and then you'll see another "new betta" post Ry!

22?!! I think that's how many I have too right now... Anyways, that is my boy right there! He's BeeeOOteeful!! Even for coming all the way from Asia, he looks awesome.

He's pretty faded (I can tell in his face) but he has pretty good color considering his trip.

Get this though, he's been at the transhipper for a week or so and I've been dying waithing for him to get here. When the box arrived, the return address to the transhipper is about two and a half hours from my house! I could have driven to get him about 800 times. Oh well.

I love him! Although that bag is VERY pathetic, thats what my green water comes in, not living bettas! I'm glad to see him doing well despite his bag.
