Angfelfish

Hi everybody.

My tank is 96 litre (around 21 gallons) and is 81cm long 36cm high and 31cm from back to front. I have 5 lemon tetras in at the moment and i am wondering if 1 angelfish will thrive in these conditions. What height do angelfish normally grow up to? I know that angelfish are meant to have a minimum tank size of 40cm high but would one be ok in a 36cm high tank? Is there any species of smaller angelfish that would fit in my tank?

angels need 18 iches(46 cm) high minimum so no not really ur tank isnt big enough 2 house them properly

Yep I agree with Jen, the 46cm is a minimum recommendation for an Angel, while they may be small to start with, once they grow they will end up with their top fin sticking out of the top. You could have one for a while, but would recommend upgrading to a taller tank after a while.
