hi ppl was just wondering if anyone can give me a clue as to whats happened
i bought four gold angels a few months back and they where all the same size they all have the same water conditions food lighting etc but for some reason three have grown away superbly and one just hasnt grown theres no aggresion either and plenty of plants and hidey holes
thanx in advance scot
:good:

maybe its a primoridal drawf
maybe its not getting alot of food and growth rates slowed with it,,,
hows it eating etc?

yes i woudl think it hasnt been getting enough food than the other 3

and over time hasnt growiing so well

the small one in question gets its fair share for sure it gets well on the act at feeding time
scot

It happens a lot with cichlids, not sure of the real reason though I have heard several theories.

i used to breed angels 'not really on purpose though', however, i often found that out of a lot of fry, some would grow a lot slower than others. I merely put this down to them being the runt of the litter, so to speak, but did find this happening with every breed.

thanx ppl im sure its getting enough food and there are no signs of pairing or breeding behaviour
should i stop this fish from breeding if its a dwarf or runt its perfectly formed just really small compared to its m8s
thanx again scot :good:
