Angels or Blue Rams ??

i dont know what to choose i love them both ! i am trying to stock my tank and know i want about 4 cory cats, 1 pleco and about 8 neons or cardinals or some schooling fish. now i cant decided on if i want some angels or the rams, i love the angels and have two already (which i am going to be trading sinse they are in a 10gallon, and i want the black and white stripe ones) and they will go all over the tank, ooorrrr do i want blue rams ! my store has a bunch right now and they are little babies, getting some nice color and might be great in this tank.

Since you want neons or cardinals, your choice is pretty simple. You will have to go with the rams. Angels will eventually eat the neons/cardinals. Larger angels will eat any fish they can get in their mouth. What size tank are you putting these fish in. The pleco (if it's a common pleco) needs a minimum of 55 gallon and preferably 75 gallon.

I say rams too. Your little neons wont be happy campers when the angels are full grown

not really a good idea. Neons are actaully angels natural prey. But the person asking the question never said they had neons. So if i were you i would skip the neon and just have the cory angel and something else.

If you decide on angels, nix the neons. I have heard people say it works, but I have seen firsthand how it doesn't work. I went from 10 glolite tetras to 5 in one night. I know it was the angels because I saw him eating one. Any small tetra and an angel or two is asking for trouble.

If you are dead set on the neons, get rams.

i am not completely set on neons, i can go for something else, just dont know what ! but im not looking for something dull and white or clear, i want color

Throwing out the neon/angel issue, you really can't go wrong with either the angels or rams. I have 4 angels and love them. I especially love how the eat flake food. The have to turn almost straight up and look like bobbers as the bob up and down to get food. I also want to get 4 GBRs for that tank as I love those too.

haha now that is something i would love to have.

i can decide ! i want angels because they are pretty cool how they swim and they stay mainly at the top.
i want the rams because of their color and but they arent thatr big on the top

ok i see the majority wants me to get blue rams.. one question, will the rams move all along my tank? i am getting cories and pleco which are bottom guys, and some school of something for the top, but will the rams stay at the bottom or will they go everywhere and not just mainly at the bottom?
also how many can i get with maybe 4 cories 1or2 small pleco and a school of 8small fish ?
