Angels Eyes Are Cloudy Up

Ok both of my angels eyes are starting to get white. They are old and tank details are in my website and no i dont have a tester kit YET so dont ask about that. They are almost 12 years old could this just mean they are getting old, they still are mating every week and laying eggs and my aunts angels which were from the same tank as i got mine and are the same age and everything went blind a while ago could this just mean mine are going blind?

From everything I've read, angels are supposed to live 10+ years. I'd like to congratulate you and your aunt for taking such good care of your angels.

I would think if it happened to other angels the same age from the same tank, it is probably the same case with yours.

does sound like they are developing cateracts, which is a sure sign of an old animal.
great job on keeping them for so long, but be prepared for the worst.

just as a precaution I, personnaly, would do a course of melafix incase it is cloudy eye.
even if it is not a course of melafix can't hurt them.
