Never heard of a marble cichlid are you sure thats a common name for it? The oscar might get aggresive towards the angels at most, but the angels will get more agressive as they grow. The biggest worry is probly the oscar.

Not long, those angels will be the first to go.

Yeah its a kind off Oscar, its more or less like that but the one i have has only cream and black colouration with no orange. Id take a photo of mine but dont have a camera at the moment.

Well hopefully out of the angels i have maybe one will at least survive to grow large enough to avoid being considered food, ive seen very large angels in other tanks and to be honest they can be suprisingly aggresive fish.

I understand how angels can be aggressive, I have around 700 or so ATM, being a breeder. I also have an oscar, which is not one if the more seriously aggressive of the NW cichlids, but will rip the fins off an adult angel in no time flat. It's no contest, I've tried it with some adult angels while I had the time to sit & watch. They came back out within an hour.

That stocking might work in a really large tank, 180+ gallons, which would give the angels a little more space to hide, as well as more territory for the other cichlids. Anything smaller means the angels will be either food or stress victims.

yeah more space would probably help, though oscars have a fairly easy going temprament as you say they tolerate everything in the tank quite well but when they get bigger its probably just a matter of them thinking something could be food as apposed to them trying to be aggresive.
