Ladies and gentleman, I would like to introduce you to my new gentle giant, King of the 57Gallon tank!

He (or she!) Is a Synodontis Angelicus catfish, and measures around 6" in length!!! He is currently cohabiting with 6 gold tetra and 6 ghost catfish. However dangerous you say it is keeping with the tetra, it isnt a long term solution, having said that he doesnt seem bothered by them at all, and just swims right by them! Interesting...

Anyway, here are the pics!

Nice fish bunji

taking a risk with those tetras though :p

No, THEY are taking the risk!... He really doesnt seem to care about them. But then, hes been in a small tank with random cichlid and rainbowfish companions for 2 months until now... he has 57 gallons of space to enjoy and i bet he is loving it :)

Hey, if i wake up with 1 less tetra i have plenty of places to move them to, but it adds an element of danger dont you think? :shifty:

Ben

Gorgeous! I keep meaning to get Synos for my bigger tanks, or talking cats cos I don't have little fish anymore.

Are you getting more or do you have other Synos?

Thanks for all the comments guys :)

The 57G will finally be home to....

1 syno angelicus :)
3+ syno petricola
2 flagtail catfish
3 pictus catfish
6 glass catfish

and a plec, undecided which one.

Ben :)

I was thinking that, I may get 3 more.

Ben

edit: just another thing to mention, flagtails are middle swimming as well as bottom dwellers, and the pictus cats dont really have a general area, they just go everywhere! hehe :)..... Anyway, it is my "Catfish Tank".
