Angelicus Catfish

However dangerous you say it is keeping with the tetra, it isnt a long term solution, having said that he doesnt seem bothered by them at all, and just swims right by them! Interesting...
He's a stunner ben, but watch out. He may be ignoring them now, but one day you'll probably wake up to less fish in the tank, that's what I found with my shovelnose!!! :p
lovely fish though!!! :D

Thanks RVM but he's not quite as big as your shovelnose :p

Anyway, took some more pictures of him this morning. He seems to enjoy investigating me and its quite amazing the look of intelligence in this fish's eyes...

You may also notice that he isnt amongst huge pieces of bogwood that were in the tank... This is because I decided to take the bogwood out so that i can clean it with a pressurised jet washer at some point this week. To get the remaining dirty and grime out of it. I have made him a nice caving area with some large bits of slate rock to keep him happy for the moment.

Thanks again :)

I will post more pictures of him when I have put the bogwood etc. into the tank and the rest of his tankmates:

3+ Syno Petricola,
3 Pictus cats,
2 flagtail cats
1 or 2 plecs.
(Along with the 8 glass cats in there already).

I was thinking that, I may get 3 more.

Ben

edit: just another thing to mention, flagtails are middle swimming as well as bottom dwellers, and the pictus cats dont really have a general area, they just go everywhere! hehe :)..... Anyway, it is my "Catfish Tank".
Very nice Syno....I have 5 pictus and while they will sometimes swim middle area they do spend 99% of their time on the bottom among rocks and shelter. Nice pics :D
