hi guys..i had two angelfish.not sure how to class them as a pair,as i didnt buy them in the same store..but there was no problems between them.if you would class that as a pair..anyways one passed away recently and im curious on weather its a good idea on adding another..hit&miss maybe???

A new angel would provide some company if it happens to be of the opposite sex. Two males would not be an especially good idea and most people have some trouble sexing angels.

How big is the tank?
If its fairly big and lots of hiding spots there shouldnt be to many problems.
If you want a pair your best to add 3 more and wait for 2 to pair up then sell the other 2 or there likely to get bullied by the 2 that have paired.

I have never had a problem introducing new Angels usually as the new angel is young. True they may be bullied for a few days but this normally dies down but this problem is worse if the new Angel is also an adult then the bullying can become severe.
This can be overcome by totally rearranging the tank and creating a neutral territory I would defo buy another they are beautiful fish with lots of character.

thanks for the replys lads..spotted a little beauty in seahorse the other day,as they got there new stock in..beautiful looking angelfish-but there goin for 20each..
