Angelfish

Hey im new to the forum , i was told by my local lfs not to put two angelfish together is this correct?

I have been told that by a few people but I think its just incase they dont get on...
I have 9 or 10 in my tank and they all get on fine...
I also have 2 in another tank from the group that decided to mate

Its safe to do but just keep an eye on them as they may not get on.... (Someone more experienced may be able to help a bit more)

I was told in the fish store, To get one, or three because they can be aggressive, they told me that because I wanted to buy 2.

You shouldnt get them in 3s in case 2 pair off and bully the other.

All you can do is try and if they don't get on then return one.

If two angels start to pair off and breed they will become very territorial. That could cause all sorts of problems in a small tank.
