USA,
my angels that i just got are causing problems. theyve killed 2 corries, eaten 4 minnows, 1 danio two small swordtails and 2 ottos. I need to get some tank mates that they wont eat.

What would be some good choices?

yeah, so they dont eat them, and so the tank isnt empty. I already have 3 2 inches and 2 one inches. I think one of the two inchers is a bit bigger. Its eaten all of my smaller fish, which shocked my, untill it yawned and its mouth was pretty big.

In my experience with angels,I could tell you that they could get very mean.My angels have eaten a few guppy tails and neons.

As far as I can tell, you already have 5 angels in a 55 gallon tank.I think that's enough. They will grow very quickly, and the moment they start paring up,all hell breaks loose again.
You may try having corys again,as long as you have the tank well planted and some caves, driftwood and rocks are provided for their protection.

Yo Yo Botias is what i have with my Angels

When i get the chance about 5-6 Harquline Rasboras are coming also.

2 angels
3 Yo Yo's
6 Rasboras (eventaully)
In my 29gal

I keep 2 angels in a 55G with 3 spot gourami, dwarf rainbows and boesmani rainbows. I also have 2 otto's that they have pretty much left alone. I gave up trying to put small fish in there as the angels will snack on them. I think that if you can get some larger schoaling fish like rainbows it looks really nice.

Are you planning on keeping 5 angels until they are full grown? I am not sure that 55g is enough for that many, especially if you get a pair or two. I have a pair right now, and they have taken over 1/2 the tank for their eggs. No other fish gets close. I haven't kept angels for long, so I could be really wrong.

nope, my aunt wants to get a tall tank, 20 high or a 29, so I will be giving her two when she does get the tank.

I was thinking rainbows as well, as my brother has 1,m a mean one that killed all the oothers, and he is big and pretty, so I may get some of them.

I have some rosey barbs, LF's, and they seem good as well.

I have one larger angel in a 40 gall with harlequins, corys, tetras, otos and polka dot loaches - no problems so far with any of them He did chase some of the harlequins when they were smaller but has left them alone since. Maybe Clarence just does'nt have the killer instinct.
