Ahh kinda grew tired of my Angelfish and wanted a fish that gets larger.
I had so much enjoyment from my KOI this summer, now that it is colder, I have to get my FISH fix indoors.
I used to keep Oscars about 15-years ago, and had lots of fun with them. But then I got into KOI, and well that is what I was doing for the past 9-years or so.
My tank is only 45-gallons, but I hope with frequent water-changes and good filteration that my new fish will do well.
I walked into the fish shop, and I was just about to purchase this nice albino oscar, a little smaller then a dollar-bill.
But at the last minute I decided on this Green-Terror, who is about half the size of a dollar bill. There were 3-terrors in the tank, with some other cichlids. This was the smallest terror in the group, but seemed to have the nicest color. The one largest terror out of the 3 in the tank was beating on my fish, and the other terror, so I am sure he was happy to leave the store with me.
I really like this fish, and never had one before. This fish is by itself in the tank with a Aqua-Clear 110, Power Filter and a Aqua-Clear 80 Power-Head.
Still new with these guys and just wanted to share my excitement.
Angelfish just didnt cut it anymore after playing with my larger KOI this summer.
Here is the TANK before and after the conversion.
Now a much more interesting tank (atleast I think) with a much more interesting fish.
This fish is hard to photograph he still constantly hides after 2-days in his new home. I was thinking of getting a pleco to keep him company, but I am afraid they may fight and I dont want this fish to get messed up.
Hope you enjoy.
