when i went to check my fish thismorning one of my angels had no fins or tail ang two of them had badly dammaged fins and tails all three have bleeding sides. i have 2 other angels in the tank and they are fine. there is nothing else in the tank and they were fine yesterday

Sorry to hear about your fish. Maybe they just had a fight? How long have you had them? Are any new to the tank? Maybe they are trying to jockey for position in the group?

I'm not an expert, but think the others on this board might need more info before they can help. What size is the tank? What gender are the angels?

Have you checked your water levels recently? What were the stats for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate? When did you last do a water change?

Hope someone can help you

no i have not checked the levels recently. and i dont know the gender of the angels as i have no idea how.

i have had them all for over a month now althou they usedto be in a group of ten and i recently split the group in half and moved 5 others into another tank

It could be that two have paired up and the lone fish was picked on. I haven't kept angels before so I am not sure... If you can separate the fish in a separate tank with clean water.

i have and two of the tree r almost at full helth but one is taking a wile to recover
