Hello,

I've got a 120g with 1 adult angel and 6 other baby angels in a growout tank. I want to eventually add them all into the 120g when they're big enough.

I've read angels should be kept in even numbers.

Is a group of 7 adults ok or should I try to even out the numbers? Even if I got another juvi then that would mean an uneven group of 7 in the growout...

Thanks

ps. not looking to breed.

i think the uneven numbers issue is when there are less - 3 is not a very good number at all as a pair may form and then the 3rd gets picked on.

I can't see an issue with 7. I keep 6 in a 75g with no issues.

there is a chance that you will get 3 pairs and have an odd one out, but that is highly unlikely.
