Hi guys. Im really hoping some of you can help, I have 5 white angels who about 4 years old. One would think that living in the same tank and growing up together from babies they would get along. Most of the time they do except for the occasional whinge at each other (includes nipping of fins etc).
anyway, over 6 months ago one of the developed a lump on his side fin which im guessing was a result of a fight. I was advised to take him out a couple of time and drop a couple of drops of liquid betadine on it to help heal it..Did this, it never got any better or worse and needless to say ever since then he has been cautious of me (im guessing he didnt like it).
now in the last couple of days (that ive noticed anyway) it looks like it has gotten a little worse (just a little) and his fin actually looks like it has extra flex at the point on the outside of the growth..
he/she doesnt have any trouble feeding and still has an appetite and seems to swim around easier enough as needed..
Im hoping for advice or solutions as to what to do as im rather attached to my 5 angels (all of my fish actually, but definitely these)

anyway, now for this bit:
1. Water parameters. (ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, PH, temp', Hardness etc) - havent tested lately ( had the growth since before last test and everthing was normal then) but the temp sits at a constant 25 - 26 celcius
2. A full description of the fishes symptoms.- as above, acting normally
3. How often you do water changes and how much. - 1/3 tank change every 1 - 2 weeks
4. Any chemicals and treatments you add to the water. - none
5. What tank mates are in the tank. - as above , 4 other angels and then 1 bristlenose, 5 clown loaches, 1 bolivian butteryfly, and a few small pristella tetras
6. Tank size. - 5ft long, 1.5ft deep,(front to back) and 2ft high
7. Finally Have you recently added any new fish? none
as for the filter - Fluval fx 5
Please help, im really hoping someone can/will, Thanks James
