i know the guppy fry will get eaten, but would i have to worry about the guppies harrassing the angels for any reason, or vice versa?

edit: i know it probably depends on the individual angel personality, but i'm wondering what my odds are of them being OK together if raised together from a small size..

This is a myth - fish don't make friends. It might take them longer before it happens, but sooner or later a small fish is gonna look tasty to an angel.

The perspective of the small fish is often overlooks. We know how bad stress is for fish, and think of the stress of living with a natural predator, never knowing whenit will make an attempt.

Stick to fish that have no chance of being mistaken for food and you'll have a much healthier tank in the long run. If there's even a question of whether a fish will fit in an adult angels mouth it's best avoided as a tankmate.

An adult guppy will not fit in an adult angel's mouth, but fry certainly will. If you get a pair that is spawning, any fish, especially anything that slightly resembles an angel, will get harassed.

I have a community tank that has 2 high fin swords, 6 zebra danios, & an angel, the angel doesn't bother anyone. I know if the swords were in with a pair of angels they would get torn up.
