Angel fish

I have an angel fish of about one year old..but there seems to be some swelling in the belly area..can you please let me know what could be the reason

Hi welcome to the forum Are they gasping at the top or is it just in that photo?

Can you give us as much info as possible - eg tank size, tank mates, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate levels and have you added anything new to the tank or changed anything? New fish, plants, decor, food etc?

Are they any other angels and broad leaf plants in the tank? I've never done angels myself but my mom bred the things. Is it possible that the critter could be prego?
