i think tiger barbs are nippers, not too sure on the rest..

It seems big enough (volume wise) but how tall is it?

A 125 litre tank is , unfortunately, nowhere near big enough for a large adult angelfish, which of course a small/med shop-bought angel will grow into. If you want to grow on a small angel, with the idea of getting a larger tank later, then that would be OK.

As for fin nippers ... tiger barbs are terrible fin-nippers, and should not be kept with angelfish. Any tetras have the potential to be a bit nippy, but if you have a few in a shoal they usually do not nip other fish. Platies are usually fine.

125 litres is fine for an adult angel, it's 18 inches tall from substrate to water line.

cheers for the rapid replies i have maybe got 6 barbs in the tank so i wont be risking a nice angel fish with them then cheers

Yeah just to say I agree with above but additionally you hear of penguin tetras creating issues with angels as well.
