Angel Fish With White Raised Pimple On Crown!

Right well sorry to drag up an old post but im stumped!

Ive double treated with octozin wich cleared the ulcer into a pink fleshy hole a week later its started filling with puss again so I tried some interpet anti internal med thats done basically nothing!

Now ive tried a tripple dose of ehsa hexamita wich has cleard the spot again to a pink fleshy spot.

WHAT THE HELL IS IT I CANT SHIFT THE THING? it goes then comes back!

Any help would be great!

Interpet anti internal bacteria med only good on mild cases of bacterial infections.
Is the fish in issolation.
You need an antibiotic which is only available through a vet in the uk.

You can double dose on anti internal bacteria med by interpet but I would only suggest doing the double dose in issolation.

Is the spot pink as it look like it in one of the pics.

No not like in the pic more of a pimple like a whitehead you get on your face about the same size aswell! it fills with white fluffy puss strips away to a light pink pimple then refills.

If I treat it with octozin it inverts into a half millimeter hole then after a week it raises again then fills with puss!

So far ive tried:

weeks course of myaxin (nothing)

Ocotzin 6days then repeated (reduced pimple to a pink hole only to come back a week later)

Interpet internal bacteria (did nothing)

Esha hexamita tripple dose (reduced size of pimple less redness)

Im stumped I dont know if to leave it alone and fear the worse!

The only other thing I can suggest is contacting a vet as the fish store meds are not doing the job.

Its getting worse hes developed a second sore now after a triple dose of esha hexamita! Im really about to give up fish keeping as my other angel has toke bad now stoped eating and hanging at the surface with one of his gills closed down!

What can I do?

The vet wont offer any help what so ever as he aint aquatic qualified!

Did you try the wormer plus.
As you can use bacterial meds with that med.

Angel fish 1 gold one:
I currently doseing sterazin for flukes as my other angel fish has been off he food and is hanging at the top of the tank he shut down one gill plate aswell. I aint to sure if its flukes ich or velvet to be honest!

Angel fish 2 silver/black:
The other angel has been treated with octozin 2 times, anti internal med, esha heximita triple dose but none of them have shifted it only reduced the sore in size then a week later fills back up he has a second one now comming out his gill plate!

I get some of that wormer plus next week ive just orderd some is it save to use with sterazin?

This all happend after my tetra filter sprung a leak and had to move to a new ehiem one a few months back since then my tanks haywire!

Im really worried bout the first angel as I love him to bits but hes stoped eating and just hangs at the top no signs of illness apart from 2 black specs on his crown and a blured spot thats disapeard a few days ago on his anal fin that looked like salt!

Im at a loss hear! I cant quarentine as I dont have the means to do so and I cant add salt as im planted!

I hope this info helps more.....im getting so down with it all now seein them suffer!

The second fish is showing classic symptoms if internal protozoans, most likely hexamita or spironucleus. If you can't get 25 grams of metronidazole or dimetronidazole out of your vet find another vet.

This along with a vitamin enriched food and the daily water changes needed with the metro will help the first fish.

I would try another vet like tolak has suggested.
Some vets will go out of there way to help so don't let that one vet put you off asking for help.
Wormer plus treats hole in the head but not sure how good it is. Could always ask in tropical dicussion if wormer plus is a good med for hole in the head.
