As the title says, i'v just found a pretty big tumor type thing around the anal area of my most beautiful angel fish! It must of just happened today because i was studying my fish before and they were all fine as normal. It looks like the insides of the fish have come out through its anus! I'v just given the tank a quick dose of melafix but it looks so bad i guess i should just prepare for the worst.

What could this be and how do i treat it, if it is treatable?

Help ASAP please :-(

A little more info, i dont know my water parametres -_-

The tank is a about 25-30gal (3ft/1.5ft/1ft) My last water change was yesterday where i changed around 30 litres of water. I do regular weekly tank cleaning and water changes (once a week) and filter maintenance every few weeks.

Tank mates are another angel fish, 10 neon tetra, 4 buones tyde tetra, 2 small clown loach, 2 pearl guaramis, 2 dwarf guaramis and a king tiger plec. There are no sharp objects in the tank, i have plenty of plants and some bogwood that are smooth all over.

Does the "tumour" seem soft or hard?
What color is it?
Is it bumpy or smooth?

Anyway you could get a picture up?

The tumor look as thought it'd be hard, its pinky coloured with white fugus type fluff around it. Its made up of 2 or three smooth blobs. Before the fish was trying to poo and I'v just been checking the fish again and the tumours halfed in size now, its gone smaller. So i dont know weather the rest of the tumours come off or weather its gone back into the fish. Never the less its shrunk. Still not looking good though.

The fish itself seems fine. Its eating, swimming around normally it doesn't seem to be effecting it
