I have a 92 gallon corner tank that I now have stabilized after I lost half of my cory's and all of my discus due to a parasite.  The tank has now been stabilized and I have not lost a fish in a little bit.  I have decided to add back in angels as I think my water parameters will suite them better anyway but wanted to get stocking opinions.

current fish
- 7 Cory Cats
- 1 Snowball Pleco
- 10 Cardinal Tetra
- 10 Rummy Tetra

How many angel fish?  I would like a group of about 6 if that is possible and I have heard varying opinions.  I have only kept a pair before, but 2 in a 92 gallon tank might look bare.

Thanks

with your current stocking, I would get 2 or 4, but I think 4 may be to much? im not sure.. I know that when you have angelfish you shouldn't keep odd numbers because if two pair up then the other basically just dies off. so I would say just get 2.

I think in a 90+g tank and with the other fish, 4 Angels is plenty. You might do 6 but that may be pushing it. Angels can get territorial and aggressive, especially if/when they pair off to breed, so you need to be aware of any nastiness and/or fin damage. You may need to re-home offenders to keep the peace.

(I've had 3 Angels in my 60g for years w/o issue. Two are a pair and the other is a male sibling. Here and there, the two males have sparing contests [like two brothers punching each other in the arm] but nothing serious.)
