Angel fish pics

cheers guys, ive read the link that you have.

do u reccommend me buying the other bacteria thing called bio spira or is it a waste of time? should i ask my next door neightbour for a cut off of his filter foam and a little bit of his gravel?hopefully this will bring the bacteria into the tank so that the process is ped up a little.

thanks for the great advixce guys, ill post latter if i see any worrying signs.

Your best bet. Just gravel works too. But you can't keep the angels in your tank, so after you cycle your tank you'll need to stock it with other fish. Been reading online and looks like Bio Spira really works...

I wouldn't bother with the bio spira if you can get some of your neighbour's filter media and/or some gravel instead.

got some of my neighbours gravel today.

i put 3 of the stones inside my filter next to the sponge so that it grows on that quicker.

here is a better pic of the larger angel. how (un)healthy does it look? other pictures of angel fish i have seen have much longer fins, is that a health problem? mayb my next door neightbour was getting rid of them coz his other fish were attacking them?

I don't think it realy looks unhealthy - just a little unusual. Unless you see serious problems the short fins are nothing to worry about. However, you still need to get rid of them as your tank is too small for full grown angels and angels are quite sensitive fish that won't do well in an uncycled tank.
