they do the head to tail quiver,the test of stength lip lock,chasing around,its all a test of stength,,,,it does not always mean that there going to do anything...
do you know you have a male and female for sure?
you could find maybe they dont want to do anything or its poss there two females,,,,
ok if its a yes then you will notice they start to take over an area,cleaning of multiple places like filters/rocks/slate/wood even the glass,,,,then after a few days you will notice a breeding tube appear at the base of the fish.....males is long thin and pointy----females is short fat and stumpy,,,,,then a couple of days she should lay the eggs followed by the male to fertilise them
1st batch usually gets eaten,,,,,
a good water change could help the situation
