i have a juvy sunset blusher for a week now n she is rejecting the flakes i put in but quickly eats frozen brine shrimp, however i only feed the shrimp every other day. the other 3 angels in the tank are the same size n the blusher has gotten established into the tank n not intimidated by the other fish at all. Any suggestions on wat i should do. thanks

feed it FD bloodworms, crushed up fd krill, etc :) Or let it fast for a couple days so it's really hungry, then offer flakes ;)

I was in your same situation exactly not to long ago....

I had one angel that ate everything (including algae wafers) and one angel that didn't eat flakes which was their staple food.

I just fasted them both for a few days and then fed them flakes again and ONLY flakes. Once the picky angel got hungry enough, he started eating the flakes. Trust me.... he'll eat when he gets hungry enough and when he realizes the flakes are the only thing coming into the tank.

ok, thanx. All of my other angels just want to eat every time they see me looks like their stomaches are about to explode. :D hope they grow quickly. thanx for ur help

alright my blusher didnt eat at all tonight and i fed both frozen brine shrimp and flakes the others are eating so i know the water parameters fine. im not sure wat is wrong, wat should i do?

The fish are ok if they don't eat for 2-3 days. I believe cali suggested more than one day for that fast.

Have you tried bloodworms? The color and the taste drive most fish crazier than if they were offered brine shrimp... Or how about live foods?

freeze dried. the lfs where i bought these angels from are fed frozen brine shrimp every morning and flakes at night so im not sure y just this blusher wont go up to eat n wont even eat when the food is near it.

It's stress from the move to the new tank. It must be weaker than the other fish and might even have parasites or a disease. As long as the tank specs are ok, all you have to worry about is reducing stress and feeding appealing food.

You might want to try fruitflies (prefferably flightless, though they might not all be flightless). Angels are topfeeders and insects are part of their diet. ;)
