Angel ... Any Thoughts ?

Don't really know much about the different types of angels, but I bought this guy for one of my tanks simply because he looked great. I love his blue. Really intense and pearlescent.

What sort is he ? Any good ?

He a greedy oik, thats for sure ! Fits in a treat here.

That's a really cool looking angel. I liked my angels and will have some again someday. I love the Long fins.

Yours looks healthy. Must be a new blue strain we will start seeig more and more differant blue. The top fin is a bit short but it could grow in. Looks like a male. Very nice.

I would call it a blue Leopard

Now that's the first blue angel I've ever seen. Sorry I can't help on determining what type he is but no matter what, he's stunning.

Interesting ! Seems that a number of new strains have the "new" platinum blue gene.
And thanks to all for your comments.

My fish was not particularly expensive at all, so I guess they're easy to breed, and relatively sturdy (unlike the EBJD) !

The dorsal fin does definately need to fill out a bit. I think the caudal fin is actually normal. It's just the angle of the photo and the way he's swimming that makes it look a little odd.

I'm looking forward to seeing him grow.

Looks like a cross between an angel and one of those really blue discus!!!!
