Not sure if 7 months is old enough, most things I've read say 9-12 months.

What is bright lights? Metal halide, t5, t8 LED? Can you give a wattage or equivalent? Nems soak up lots of light.

Better to get this sorted now rather then panicing later :)

My lighting is called 't5 power compact tubes (i have 2)

i dont think that 2x power compacts will be enough to sustain an anenome.

They need protected powerheads as they walk a lot and will get cut up by the smallest gap in pumps.

they need ultra stable water conditions aswel

i do not have a power head or a that it can get in ,

how do you lower alkalinity??

I have. 2 water jet things that are just like powerheads and they are pretty strong and my Reading of alk is 5

Hello,

By the way I am goin to get some frogspawn and cornet coral and after that I will probaly get my sand anenome

Kind regards,

HI there

the sand anenomes are not easy to keep and need a mature tank of 1.5 years and i dont think as ben said your light will be strong enought the spread as far out as they can to get more light and anenomes dont stay in one place sou wont advice it to your tank if you only have to t5 tubes and you need more power heads for you 50 gallon tank
