The actual wounds on the feet were from a naked army crawl up the bus. The swelling is the result of a later bacterial infection (probably from the water in the white water rafting as it was shortly after then that the feet swelled up).

I am on heavy duty anti-biotics and have some antibacterial cream for the feet.

The swelling has gone down a lot now, and the scabs are slowly healing up.

The other main difference between rugby and American football is that in rugby we tend to play for longer than 6 seconds at a time before a 45 second break.

Then, of course, there is all the fun that goes on in the scrum...

Now that is classic! I didn't turn up too bad when I played. Hopefully this year wont be any worse, I like staying in one piece.
