So it's all kinda sad looking at the moment LOL, but oh well, I'll get around to fixing everything up at some point. The four foot tank on the white stand will soon be replaced by an AquaStart 500 (I'm swapping with my Mum) and I'm moving the two foot betta tank into the space where the four foot is now so it's less cluttered.

55g- 3 fantail goldies, 3 platies, 1 guppy and two white cloud minnows, the minnows were dumped on me, and I have no where else to put them, and I ahve no idea what to do with guppy and platies unless someone wants them?

Nice fishroom! :good: I don't think any fishroom ever has everything completely fixed up, you'll always find something to improve upon.

Wow, your fish room looks like a pretty room! Usually, fish rooms are cold basements or something. This one looks nice. :D I can't believe you have one betta in a 20 gallon. It seems so empty... D:

LOl I've got one betta in a 55 as well, though thtas not lasting wrong.

The 20 was an experiment that worked wonderfully so I left it up, the betta provides the nutrients for the plants, and the plants absorb everything, I have pristine water quality in their constantly. I don't see any problem having just one betta though, in nature their territory is larger and they guard it constantly, and Zadkiel is far happier then he ever was in his 2g tank, simply because they've always been kept in small containers doesn't mean they like it or its good for them.

Well now that year eleven has started, I've had to say goodbye to a lot of tanks and fish (has been planned for a while), it will also give me more time top concentrate on my marine tank. So this is what I have now.

55g Tropical, my fairytale tank, ever since I was little I've wanted to have a fairytale fish tank, so decided that this was what the tank would be, now all I need is a princess with long hair LOL. The tank is a standard four foot 55g tank.

Stock

1 x angelfish (Argus
9 x serpae tetras
4 x black widow tetras
2 x silver tetras (we've had them for seven years, no idea what they are, but they just move from tank to tank, their real survivors LOL)
3 x striped kuhli loaches (two filled with eggs)
3 x platies (1 male, 2 female)
1 x female guppy
1 x cory (the last of his school, I don't want anymore so he just putters around)
2 x bristlenoses
2 x white mountain cloud minnow.

In total 22 inch long fish, 2 bristle noses, 3 kuhlis and an angel.

Then the marine tank, it's just finished it's cycle and I'm about to begin stocking, first with some snails, and I'll be picking up some cardinals soon who'll be living in the quarantine tank for a while first, also hopefully getting my first coral, just waiting for confirmation. This tank has strange dimensions, it's practically a cube and holds about 180l or 48-50g

Then my lil betta tank, it's the Aquastart 500 Aqua One tank, with plants, I lost Ezekiel my blue and pink betta, so now just have Zadkiel my cellophane betta. The plants are java moss, java fern, a peace lilly and wisteria. Its 65l or 17g

The Hermit Crab tank is virtually the same, only four hermits now though, as they massacred Icarus when he came up from a molt. The hermits names are Hermes, Hercules, Neptune and Daedalus. The tanks three foot long, it has a DIY humidifier, a 75w infrared heating globe and a 2 foot 18w full spectrum light, funny thing is, this tank has cost a lot more then what I've spent on my complete marine set up LOL.

Then the 20g/2 foot quarantine tank, all set up and awaiting fish.

It's very strange having so few tanks LOL. Theres no full room shot though as the place is a mess, I really need to do a major clean up.

The freshwater tanks will be left as is, with no occupants and when their occupants die, will be packed away, I only have two years left of school, then it's off to uni. I'll be commuting from home from uni, but know I'm only going to have time for the marine tank, so the general plan is by the time I finish year twelve in a bit less then 2 years time, I'll have cut down (either sell off, or have already died, some of the fish are quite old a couple of the tetras are close to 7 years old) to just the marine tank, and will just enjoy that.
